Wildehurst Wines

The biggest little winery in Koringberg

Wildehurst Winery, owned by Chris and Joanne Hurst had its maiden harvest in 2009. Together with a few friends who are passionate about making wine and drinking it, they have been making blends that capture the essence and unique terriour of an age old wine making region known as the Swartland.

Since the release of their premier ‘Côtes du Rhône’ style red, The Wildehurst Red 2009, a classy blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre and Cinsaut with a touch of Viognier, they only added to their success. The Wildehurst range now includes a 100% Chenin Blanc produced with fruit sourced from 30 year old bush vines.

Seeing as Joanne Hurst loves her red wine, even during the hot Swartland summers, the Velo Red was destined to be created. A wine that can only be described as a mid summer’s dream gushes with ripe berries and hints of perfume. This year marks the release of the Velo Blanc and Velo Rose, two exciting additions to the Velo range.

Wildehurst Wines exudes a culmination of passion and dedication to the enjoyment of life and good wine.
