Wandsbeck Wine Cellar
A true farmland experience
Wandsbeck Wine Cellar is situated in the Agterkliphoogte region of the Robertson Wine Valley (approx. 170 km from Cape Town). The cellar has 18 members and grapes are grown and supplied by 12 farms from the Agterkliphoogte region.
The cellar was formerly known as Agterkliphoogte Cooperative cellar, but due to confusion with the area’s name and other businesses in the region, it was changed to Wandsbeck in 2004. The name Wandsbek, Wandsbeck or Wantesbeke (older version) originates from old Low Saxon (Plattdüütsch ) for “Border River” and the river Wandse was a natural protective border.
Come and spend a day or a week in the Agterkliphoogte region for a true farmland experience!
