‘Die Fonteine’, home to Somerbosch Wines is relaxed and intimate, as you’d expect from a working farm that’s been in the hands of the winemaking Roux family for more than half a century.

The farm is situated in the Helderberg area of the Stellenbosch region. The cool Atlantic sea breeze combines with other terroir elements on the farm to develop the complex nature of Somerbosch wines.

Since 1995, the branded premium label – “Somerbosch” – and later our entry-level label “Poker Hill” have become synonymous with the fine wines produced in this region. Our ranges of wines are innovative and varied, appealing to a wide range of palates and are in demand both locally and in various European countries.
