Packwood Wine & Country Estate

A Taste of Country Living at its Best. Fine wine, wholesome farm cuisine, home-from-home hospitality, and countryside accommodation

Nestled in the Garden of Eden, between the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, founded by Peter and Vicky Gent in 1997, Packwood is now a beautiful country estate, over looking thousands of acres of green pastures, guests at Packwood experience a true taste of country living at its best.

From the farm to the table, Packwood’s seasonable produce is available to guests during your stay, jerseylicious milk, matured cheddar cheese and creamy butter from our dairy, crisp garden salads and to top it all wine and bubbly from our vineyard, surrounded by Knysna’s Indiginous forest and National Park, a nature lovers paradise, wildlife is around you from bush buck to monkeys and an abundance of birdlife, the cry of the Fish Eagle as they soar overhead, if you are really lucky, you may see the elusive Cape Leopard or Rooi Cat moving stelthly through the landscape.

Escape to the country to sip and savour our Cheese and Wine lunches using produce from the vineyard, dairy and garden.
