Morgenhof Wine Estate
French flair and authentic, classical and elegant wines created in the majestic Cape underground wine cellar
The illustrious Morgenhof Wine Estate is situated on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountains outside Stellenbosch. This area is renowned for the high quality of its grapes and the distinctive terroir is reflected in the character of the exceptional wines.
Owned by Mrs Cointreau, Morgenhof Wine Estate dates back to 1692 and consists of 212 hectares of which 74 hectares are under vines, producing approximately 35000 cases a year.
Come and have a wonderful tasting of our world acclaimed estate wines and enjoy the beauty of this 350 year old farm when walking through the French rose Garden and entering the impressive ‘Tastevin’ (Tasting Centre).
