Eerste Hoop (First Hope) is a young wine estate in South Africa, situated in one of the most prolific wine regions in the country. For several years Eerste Hoop has been making unique, surprising wines, each earning its share of praise.

The estate is situated on the banks of Bot River in Western Cape, South Africa. Our grapes grow in the valleys and all our wines are made, matured and bottled there. A cottage is available free of charge for overnight stays. An excellent way to taste the Wine Estate’s atmosphere.

Eerste Hoop offers the opportunity to purchase wine under a private label. This should be very interesting for those who want a wine of outstanding quality in unique, tailor-made packaging.
