We make wines that express the unique conditions of the Paardeberg and use traditional methods which closely resemble those of the early 1900s.
This means we don’t irrigate our vineyards and we prune and sucker to produce small yields of grapes with concentrated flavours. We use natural yeasts and minimal filtration. Our low use of sulphur reduces the possibility of headaches.
Our wines have done well competitively. Our 2006 Sangiovese was awarded 4 stars in Wine Magazine and our 2010 Cosmos came first in a Wine Magazine Competition.
