Delheim’s cellar is owned by the legendary Michael “Spatz” Sperling and his family, and produces a wide range of internationally acclaimed wines in an ecologically sustainable way. German gemütlichkeit is the order of the day at this beautiful property – and most of the people are related, so expect to be treated like family.
Taste wines in the atmospheric ‘Downstairs’ wine cellar, and be taken on a cellar tour to see where the wines are made. The restaurant offers a selection of dishes ranging from cheese platters to traditional German and South African fare. Eat al fresco on the garden terraces in summer with a view clear across to Table Mountain in the distance, or cozy up inside by the fireplace in winter.
