De Doorns Wine Cellar
Known to have the longest harvest season in the world
Situated in the spectacular Hex River Valley in the Western Cape and completely surrounded by magnificant mountains, De Doorns Wine Cellar has the longest harvest season in the world. The Cellar mainly supplies in bulk to well known wine and spirit companies, but a small percentage of selected bottled wines are available to the public.
These wines can be bought or ordered from the attractive Cape Dutch Wine & Tourism Centre on the N1 at the entrance to the town of De Doorns. The Cellar’s range consists of dry and semi-sweet wines, a beautiful Demi-Sec sparkling wine, excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, rich Muscadel, a full sweet sherry and a medium dry sherry.
