17km from Stanford and 35km from Caledon you’ll find the Boschrivier Wine Estate. Vineyards have been planted nestled in the shades of the Klein River Mountain range close to the beautiful Akkedisberg valley.

The first vines were planted by the De Villiers family in 1998 in some of the finest terroirs of the Overberg region. The grapes planted included six hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and three hectares of Shiraz – since then an additional three hectares of Shiraz bush has been added.

The climate, terroir, quality of grapes used and expert practices have ensured wines of excellent quality and a unique character. Make a stop at this lovely vineyard and experience all that the region has to offer.
